The Opportunity: Make an Impact in Key Stage 2
Are you a motivated and enthusiastic educator ready to inspire a Year 5 class? We are working closely with a vibrant and inclusive mainstream primary school in Knowsley to appoint a dedicated KS2 Class Teacher.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, forward-thinking team during a crucial stage of children's development. You will take full responsibility for the class, fostering a safe and engaging environment where high standards of learning are met with creativity and support.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead the classroom experience, ensuring every child transitions successfully into Key Stage 2:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, with a strong focus on core subjects including Reading, Writing, and Maths.
- Full Class Responsibility: Manage all aspects of teaching, from initial lesson planning and delivery to final assessment and reporting.
- Inclusion & Differentiation: Implement creative and inclusive teaching strategies that meet the unique needs of every learner in the classroom.
- Assessment & Strategy: Contribute to the school's assessment and implementation strategies, tracking pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
- Collaborative Working: Work within a well-supported and collaborative setting, contributing positively to the wider school life and community ethos.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Experience: Proven classroom experience within Key Stage 2, with an understanding of pupil progress tracking and assessment expectations.
- Passion: A genuine commitment to inclusive teaching and a desire to make a real difference in the L14 community.
- Professionalism: A reliable, reflective practitioner who is committed to professional growth and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Compliance: An Enhanced DBS check on the update service and eligibility to work in the UK.
