Your New Role:
As a Year 6 LSA, you will be at the heart of the classroom, making learning accessible and exciting. Your key contributions will include:
Partnering with Teachers: Actively assist in planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.
Championing Student Success: Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to nurture students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Supporting Diverse Needs: Play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping to remove barriers to learning.
Creating a Positive Environment: Help build a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom where every child feels confident and valued.
Celebrating Progress: Contribute to tracking student development and celebrating their achievements, big and small.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- A genuine passion for working with children and a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, staff, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to your work.
- Previous experience working with children (in any setting) is highly valued.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is a significant advantage.
