About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Year Coach to join a successful secondary school in Leeds. This is a full-time, long-term position, with an immediate start, offering a rewarding opportunity to provide pastoral and academic support to a specific year group. As a Year Coach, you will be a key figure in the students' lives, responsible for their well-being, progress, and overall experience at the school. This role is not just about managing behaviour; it's about building relationships, fostering a positive school culture, and empowering students to achieve their best. You will work closely with the Head of Year, teachers, and parents to ensure every student receives the support they need to succeed both academically and personally.

Requirements:
... - A degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience working with young people in an educational or pastoral setting
- A clear and current Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily pastoral support to a designated year group
- Monitor student attendance, behaviour, and academic progress
- Lead and deliver pastoral interventions and workshops
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies
- Support the Head of Year with administrative and organisational tasks
- Participate in school events, including parent's evenings and assemblies
- Implement and enforce school behaviour policies consistently
- Act as the first point of contact for student welfare issues
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive school culture
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and interventions
