Are you ready to be the welcoming face of a truly impactful school community?
We are seeking a warm, resilient, and highly organised Administrator to join our dedicated support team.
Our school provides a specialist, nurturing environment for pupils with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC), all of whom have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). In this role, you aren't just answering phones and managing data-you are an essential champion of inclusion, helping to create a safe, structured, and joyful space where neurodivergent young people can thrive.
We live by the philosophy of "Humans first, professionals second." If you bring a great sense of humour, attention to detail, and the ability to start each day fresh, you will fit right into our collaborative, supportive culture.
Your Impact & Key Responsibilities
As our 'front of house' lead and a core member of the administrative team, your day-to-day will be varied, rewarding, and deeply rooted in student wellbeing:
Front of House Excellence: Provide a professional, exceptionally warm, and nurturing welcome to pupils, parents, and visitors.
Safeguarding Administration: Complete and manage administrative work within safeguarding, maintaining online reporting systems and Early Help Assessments (EHAs).
Visitor & Access Control: Act as a vital gatekeeper, ensuring all visitors are signed in/out and that crucial safeguarding checks are verified.
School Operations: Keep pupil records flawlessly up to date on SIMS, manage the school diary, operate the main switchboard, coordinate incoming/outgoing mail, and manage central email inboxes.
Communication & Collaboration: Send out vital home/school messages to parents, support staff absence tracking, and assist with the preparation of open days and parent events.
Student Care & Well-being: Model positive social interactions for our pupils, look after students who feel unwell, and undertake First Aid training to support daily medical and medication needs.
About You
To excel in this role, you don't need to be a rigid perfectionist, but you do need to care deeply about getting things right for our students. We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about Inclusion: You understand that an administrative role in a specialist school directly impacts the social, emotional, and communication development of our pupils.
Tech-Savvy & Organised: Proficient with or quick to learn school systems like SIMS, with a sharp eye for detail and data security (GDPR).
A Grounded Team Player: You possess emotional resilience, excellent communication skills, and a belief in treating everyone with fairness, dignity, and respect.
Adaptable: Comfortable managing a busy reception environment while keeping the space efficient, safe, and welcoming.
What We Offer You
A collaborative learning culture with extensive CPD and training opportunities.
The chance to work within an inspiring, inclusive, and deeply impactful team dynamic.
A workplace that genuinely values work-life balance, mutual respect, and celebrates collective success.
