About the Role
Randstad Social Care is seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join a dedicated, supportive team in East Dunbartonshire. This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver impactful interventions, conduct statutory assessments, and support adults and carers while enjoying flexible working patterns and comprehensive travel and accommodation support.

Key Responsibilities
- Adult Support & Protection (ASP): Conduct robust risk assessments, statutory enquiries, and safeguarding reviews under the Adult Support and Protection framework to ensure individual safety and well-being.
- Caseload Management: Oversee a varied adult caseload across community and care settings, ensuring effective, person-centred interventions.
- Assessments & Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments and reviews (including Adults with Incapacity / AWI where applicable) to promote independence, developing tailored care plans in partnership with service users and families.
- Multi-Agency Collaboration: Partner closely with NHS health professionals, housing, hospital discharge teams, and voluntary services to coordinate holistic support.
- Statutory Compliance & Record Keeping: Prepare, maintain, and present high-quality, accurate reports and case records in line with local authority guidelines and statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Professional Registration: Active registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) (or registered with Social Work England with eligibility to switch).
- Vetting: Valid membership in the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme for working with protected adults.
- Qualifications: Recognized Degree or Diploma in Social Work (BA Hons, DipSW, MSc).
- Experience: Proven post-qualifying experience in statutory Adult Social Work in Scotland or the wider UK.
