Are you a highly experienced frontline Social Work Advanced Practitioner with a proven track record in fast-paced MASH or screening environments?
Sheffield City Council is recruiting an Advanced Practitioner to join their Safeguarding Front Door Team (MASH). Offering £35.00 per hour with contract security funded through to March 2027, this role is ideal for a skilled practitioner who excels at risk assessment, multi-agency analysis, and child-centred decision-making at pace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Door Triage & Assessment: Triage incoming safeguarding contacts, synthesize information from multiple agencies, and ensure vulnerable children receive the right service at the right time.
- Risk Management & Safety Planning: Apply clear statutory threshold frameworks, conduct robust risk assessments, and co-produce actionable safety plans.
- Signs of Safety Practice: Utilize Sheffield's core Signs of Safety practice framework to inform multi-agency decision-making and strengths-based planning.
- High-Pace Systems Work: Navigate and record information efficiently using the Liquid Logic social care system within a dynamic, fast-paced team setting.
What We Are Looking For:
- Registration & Experience: Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England (SWE) with significant frontline fieldwork and Advanced Practitioner experience.
- MASH / Screening Expertise: Essential prior experience working within a MASH or Front Door screening team, demonstrating the ability to work effectively at pace.
- Core Competencies: Clear, in-depth understanding of statutory safeguarding thresholds, high-level risk analysis, and safety planning.
- Systems & Practice Frameworks: Experience with Liquid Logic and the Signs of Safety model is highly advantageous.
