An excellent opportunity has opened for an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) Social Worker to join the Adult Mental Health Team in Middlesbrough. In this dual-focused role, you will contribute directly to improving the lives of local residents by balancing duty rota responsibilities with dedicated, personalized case management.

Core Responsibilities
- Duty AMHP Rota: Participate actively in the statutory AMHP duty rota, carrying out Mental Health Act assessments and triage duties as required.
- Personalised Assessments: Complete holistic Care Act and mental health assessments, clearly identifying individual needs while actively listening to the adult's voice and understanding their personal context.
- Care & Support Planning: Design and implement tailored care plans that utilize informal support networks, community assets, and statutory interventions.
- Adult Safeguarding: Identify, respond to, and work proactively with adults to safeguard them from abuse, neglect, and harm.
Mandatory Candidate Requirements
- Professional Status: Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- AMHP Qualification: Must hold a recognized Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification alongside a current warrant.
- Statutory Experience: Proven track record of working with adults within statutory local authority mental health teams.
