Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Southampton
Salary & Package: £22,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience), plus Company Van and Fuel Card
Contract Type: Permanent (Contractors will also be considered for short-term cover)

They have recently won a large housing contract in the Southampton area to add to two other concurrently running housing contracts, and are looking for two permanent surveyors to join their close-knit team.

As my client teaches analytical work in-house, they actively encourage surveyors to cross-train (such as gaining P403/P404 qualifications) and will fully mentor and support you through this process. However, if you simply want a stable, comfortable surveying role without the pressure to step up, that is absolutely welcomed too.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting asbestos surveys on a large portfolio of domestic housing properties across the Southampton area.
- Maintaining high-quality standards and submitting accurate survey reports.
- Operating effectively using the provided company van and fuel card.
About You:
- You must be a BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) qualified asbestos surveyor.
- You will ideally have 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience. My client is specifically looking for surveyors at this stage in their career who are eager to branch out, rather than highly senior consultants who may find domestic housing surveys repetitive.
- You will be someone who values a supportive, family-business environment over simply being a number in a large corporate machine.
- You must hold a full UK driving licence to operate the provided company van.
