Are you looking for a change of scenery? Tired of the same daily commute? Have you ever considered living & working in some of the most beautiful places within the UK?
At Randstad, we are looking for experienced and dedicated Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers & Domiciliary Carers to join a number of dedicated teams within rural areas of Scotland, including the Scottish Isles. Whether you are looking for a change of pace, a chance to save, or a unique coastal experience, this is the perfect opportunity to make a real difference while exploring one of the world's most beautiful regions. Locations include:
- The Western Isles
- Argyll & Bute
- Orkney
- Shetland
We work with many clients including local authorities, charities and other private organisations who have a variation of care services in need of experienced staff. We specialise in providing the highest calibre of workers to these roles, in order to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided to vulnerable people at all times.
In these small communities, although day to day life can be much slower than on the mainland, Health & Social Care remains an incredibly busy part of the community and as such you can expect to work a lot of hours during these temporary posts. If you are someone who enjoys being busy and working more than 60 hours per week at times, then this could be the opportunity for you!
Pay & reward
We offer competitive rates of pay which vary depending on the contract, job title and location but you can expect a minimum pay rate of £19 per hour which can rise to as much as £26 per hour! If you're working in a community based role, mileage can also be paid at a rate of 55p per mile.
Any ferry costs incurred in getting to your placement will be fully reimbursed in your first wage.
Accommodation
Accommodation is fully provided free of charge, though please note that you will likely be sharing a 2 bed+ property with another agency member of staff.
