We're looking for someone with a warm heart and a genuine passion for helping young people. You'll be a team player, ready to tackle challenges with a positive attitude.
- Previous experience working in a residential setting with young people
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong communication skills
- PVG scheme registration
- Full driving license (preferred)
As a Residential Childcare Worker, your day-to-day tasks will involve providing 24-hour care to vulnerable young people. You'll be responsible for ensuring their health, hygiene, and safety, and managing challenging behaviors with appropriate strategies.
- Providing 24-hour care, meeting children's health, hygiene, and safety needs.
- Managing challenging behaviors using appropriate strategies.
- Administering medication and maintaining professional standards.
- Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and supervision of activities.
- Supporting educational needs and teaching essential life skills.
