The Role:
Providing day-to-day residential care (activities, appointments, family contact) for children in crisis.
- Engaging and building trust with young people using creative methods.
- De-escalating heightened behaviours to maintain a safe environment.
- Completing daily records and incident reports to shape care plans.
What You Need:
- Experience: 6+ months of paid UK care experience (residential preferred).
- Skills: Strong de-escalation skills and a calm, resilient, non-judgemental mindset.
- Requirements: DBS on the update service (or willing to apply). PMVA training is highly desirable.
- Mobility: A UK driving licence with business insurance is ideal for community activities.
