We are actively recruiting temporary Children's Residential Support Workers to partner with a variety of established care homes throughout the Brighton region. About the Role
In this highly impactful role, you will support children and young people with complex needs and emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD) within structured, supportive residential settings. Your core responsibilities will include:
Establishing Stability: Fostering a secure, welcoming, and predictable environment where residents feel safe.
Life Skills Mentorship: Supporting young people through their daily routines and empowering them to develop independence.
Positive Behaviour Management: Diffusing challenging situations using calm, trauma-informed, and professional de-escalation techniques.
Holistic Care: Following tailored care plans to ensure the highest levels of safeguarding, wellbeing, and emotional support.

Key Requirements
Proven Experience: Prior experience working with children and young people with complex needs/challenging behaviours in a formal residential care environment is essential.
Transport: A full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle is required due to the location of some services across East and West Sussex.
