As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to youth in diverse residential and community settings.
Your core duties will include:
- Providing essential emotional support, practical guidance, and tailored care to children and young people.
- Manage residential, community, and emergency care packages across the UK, including Newcastle, Teesside, Durham, Cumbria, Birmingham, Peterborough, and Southampton etc.
- Utilizing your expertise to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively, applying approved physical intervention and restraint techniques.
- Working collaboratively with social care teams, local authorities, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the young people in your care.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who have a genuine passion for working with children, particularly those requiring support with challenging behaviors.
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience:Proven experience in working with children and young people, with a specific focus on de-escalation and managing challenging behaviors.
- Right to Work: Full UK Right to Work is mandatory (Unrestricted status only; we do not provide visa sponsorship).
- Driving Requirements: A valid UK Driving Licence and access to your own personal vehicle are essential.
- Flexibility: A willingness and ability to travel nationwide for short-term or ongoing care packages.
- Certifications: Possession of a PMVA, Conflict Resolution, or Restraint Training certificate is highly preferred. (In-house training is available for suitable candidates who wish to complete this qualification).
