Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Truro, Cornwall
Salary: £14.00 - £18.00 per hour (Plus holiday pay and pension benefits)
Job Description:
Randstad Care is offering immediate opportunities for compassionate and robust support workers across Truro, Falmouth, and the surrounding mid west Cornwall region. We specialise in supplying exceptional care professionals to high needs, complex care packages. In this role, you will work closely with residential services to provide structure, boundaries, and safety to children and young people facing significant social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, stable, and predictable environment within residential homes
Support young people dealing with trauma backgrounds, mental health challenges, or absconding risks
Work closely with multi disciplinary teams including social workers and therapists
Promote independence, daily living skills, and educational engagement

What We Are Looking For:
Minimum 6 months of dedicated experience within a children's residential or complex youth setting
Full UK driving licence and vehicle access
Robust boundary setting skills and a trauma informed approach to care
Enhanced DBS check clear and registered on the Update Service
