UK. As Construction Manager, you will play a central role in delivering a
groundbreaking megaproject that will transform our operations and support the
transition to a more sustainable, modern steel industry.
In this role, you will take responsibility for leading construction activities across a
large and complex site. You will coordinate works across multiple disciplines,
contractors and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient and highquality project
delivery. Your work will involve planning and guiding the construction schedule,
managing resources, supporting engineering and procurement teams and ensuring
all activities remain aligned with project milestones.
You will also take ownership of site safety and compliance, maintaining high
standards across all construction areas. Strong leadership will be a key part of your
day, from mentoring teams to resolving onsite challenges and supporting decision
making. You will work closely with senior project leaders, providing clear updates on
progress, risks and opportunities to keep the project on track. This is a fastpaced role
that blends technical awareness, strategic thinking and ontheground leadership.

What you will need
You will bring significant experience in industrial construction management, ideally
within largescale or complex engineering projects. A strong understanding of steel
fabrication, welding practices and industrial facility construction will be important.
You should be confident using construction management tools and planning software
such as Primavera P6 or MS Project and familiar with BIM environments.
Safety leadership is essential. You should have a deep understanding of HSE
requirements and experience embedding safe systems of work across busy
construction sites. Your ability to work with contractors, engineering teams and

senior stakeholders will be vital, along with strong organisational and problemsolving
skills.
A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is
preferred, and additional project management qualifications such as PMP or PRINCE2
would be an advantage. Experience working in crosscultural or international project
environments will also be useful.
