We are eager to welcome passionate Cover Supervisors to our secondary schools across Sefton, including Maghull, Bootle, Crosby, and Southport, with both long-term and flexible day-to-day supply roles available.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and supervise whole-class lessons using pre-set work left by absent teachers.
- Take accurate electronic lesson registers at the start of every period.
- Keep students calm, on task, and focused on completing their work.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's positive conduct policy.
- Collect all completed workbooks and worksheets at the end of the lesson.
- Return completed work and provide brief handover notes to the subject department.
What You Need:
- Any background working with young people (schools, sports coaching, fitness, youth groups, or mentoring).
- An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willing to process one immediately).
- A strong, calm presence and the confidence to manage a room of teenagers.
