We are excitedly calling qualified and motivated English Teachers for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students across our local secondary schools in Warrington. This position is open to both experienced educators and ECTs/NQTs looking to launch their teaching journey.

QTS or QTLS status with a degree in English or a related subject (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
Strong knowledge of the UK KS3 and KS4 English Curriculum.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to complete one).

Key Responsibilities:

Teach structured, engaging English Language and Literature lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes.
Differentiate learning resources to effectively support SEND and EAL students.
Help prepare Key Stage 4 pupils for their GCSE examinations.
Set high expectations for classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
Mark work regularly and track pupil attainment to guide future planning.
