Requirements:

• Prior primary school or child support experience in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Enthusiastic, compassionate, and adaptable approach to daily classroom needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support class teachers in setting up activities and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups to boost literacy, numeracy, and overall engagement.
• Assist pupils with SEN / additional needs using patient and tailored support strategies.
• Promote positive behaviour and help keep pupils focused and safe throughout the school day.
• Assist with progress tracking and provide feedback to the class teacher.
