On behalf of a reputable secondary school in Linton, Randstad is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Female P.E. Teacher to join a thriving department from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who loves the challenge of teaching and wants to make a real impact on students throughout the full academic year. With flexibility on offer, we can consider candidates looking for 3 to 5 days per week.
Note: Due to the nature of the role and changing room supervision duties, this position has an occupational requirement for the successful candidate to be female.
You will be joining a well-established team of peers who are committed to delivering high-quality education and supporting each other's professional growth. You'll play an essential part in fostering a love of sports and fitness in students, contributing to a vibrant and collaborative school community.
What You'll Do:
Deliver Engaging P.E. Lessons: You will provide high-quality teaching for a range of year groups, delivering the UK curriculum and ensuring students are engaged, active, and developing their sporting skills.
Full Teaching Responsibilities: You will take on full teaching responsibilities for your classes. This includes lesson planning, preparation, and assessment for students across KS3 and KS4.
Contribute to a Positive Learning Environment: Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve maintaining an inspiring and inclusive environment, fostering a supportive atmosphere where every student feels confident to participate and try new sports.
Collaborate with Your Team: Work closely with a skilled and supportive team of P.E. professionals, sharing best practices and contributing to extra-curricular sports clubs and school fixtures.
Uphold School Standards: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding, health and safety, and student welfare.
We're Looking For:
A passionate and adaptable P.E. teacher with the ability to inspire students and manage an active environment effectively.
You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally with experience teaching the UK curriculum within a secondary school environment.
A strong passion for teaching physical education and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
The ability to manage a classroom/sports environment and ensure students are well behaved, safe, and engaged.
The flexibility and professionalism to step into the role with a positive, energetic attitude.
