      Quantity Surveyor with a background ideally in Rail related projects (building and civils) to join a privatley owned company - £50m a year tunrover with incredible ambition and pedegree in this market over the last 40 Years.The role would see you as Quantity Surveyor working closely with a Project / Construction Manager on 2 newly awarded Network Rail Frameworks - Circa £7Million over the next 4 years. These would be your own projects to commercially manage reporting to an area Quantity Surveyor.You would be based in a project office (off Site) with car parking in the local area, and travel monthly to Central London for Monthly reporting etc.This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked for a contractor previously, to take full control of their own projects / framework from cradle to grave with support as needed.       Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a Rail Systems Manager with either Signalling, ETE or PWAY experience for a large Rail project. The role is to start immediately and is for at least 18 months to 2 years. You will be required to have had experience in the management of rail systems and sub contractors. Duties & Responsibilities are: Delivery ManagementManage the sub-contractor in the delivery of signalling ETE and PWAY design, procurement (inc. monitoring of long lead items), installation, testing and commissioning worksMonitor progress against accepted programme.Review and challenge method statements, inspection & test plans, testing/commissioning documentation and possession programmes.Carry out robust risk identification and mitigation process, maintain current issues/risk/opportunities registerChange Control - Issue instructions, price PMI/NCEs as requiredQualityReview Inspection & Test plansEnsure approved ITPs are in place prior to commencement of work.Monitor the required handover and assurance information is produced in a timely manner to include check sheets, certs of conformity, test plans, as-built drawings etc.SafetyCarry out and record inspections/audits to ensure compliance with Project Plans inc.
