Salary: £32,916 - £45,352 per annum (M1 to M6, depending on skills and experience)

Are you a "Science Hero" ready to re-engage young minds?
We work with children and young people aged 7 to 19, providing creative, highly personalised education solutions for those who may be "lost to learning" or "hard to place." By placing relationships at the very heart of everything we do, we create tailored educational pathways that extend far beyond the mainstream school gate.
We are looking for an ambitious, passionate Science Lead to shape an exciting vision for our learners and drive high-quality teaching across our hubs.
The Role: Inspire, Elevate, Transform Learning
This is a hybrid role that gives you the best of both worlds: dedicated time in the classroom teaching inspiring lessons, alongside weekly release time to focus on strategic leadership responsibilities.
What you will be doing:
Lead the Vision: Shape and deliver a diverse, accessible Science curriculum tailored to learners who struggle in mainstream settings.
Coach & Mentor: Guide, support, and upskill teaching colleagues through targeted coaching, mentoring, and CPD.
Personalise Education: Deliver learning through a mix of 1:1 sessions, small group work, and larger vocational settings.
Drive Quality: Collaborate with school leaders on quality assurance, identifying strengths, tracking progress, and shaping meaningful interventions to raise outcomes.
Collaborate: Work closely with Learning Managers and benefit from bespoke support from our Heads of Quality of Education, while networking with fellow Curriculum Leads.
What We Are Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should be an adaptable educator who believes every child deserves a chance to reach their full potential.
Skills and Experience Required:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
SEN teaching experience is highly preferred, alongside a deep understanding of how to engage reluctant learners.
Curriculum Design: Sound knowledge and practical experience in designing and developing an adaptable Science curriculum.
Mobility: A valid driving license, access to your own vehicle, and business insurance are essential. You must be willing to travel between sites within the locality to support and engage with young people.
Why Join Us?
If you want to move away from rigid, rigid mainstream structures and move into a role where you can truly innovate, this is it. You will be part of a deeply supportive network that champions your professional growth while making a tangible, daily difference in young people's lives.
