We are currently seeking a motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school team in Haywards Heath. What we offer- Competitive Pay: £100 - £110 per day, paid weekly.

- No Planning Required: Focus entirely on delivery; all lesson materials and plans are provided by class teachers.

- Lead whole-class learning sessions and cover planned teacher release time using provided lesson plans.
- Deliver engaging lessons, follow existing curriculum schemes, and maintain classroom momentum.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to provide comprehensive support for pupils of all abilities.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead a whole class independently (as an HLTA, Cover Supervisor, or Unqualified Teacher).
- Relevant Certification: HLTA status, Level 4 Certificate, or substantial classroom-based leadership experience.
- Behaviour Management: Strong ability to establish authority quickly and maintain high standards of respect.
- Flexibility: An adaptable approach to working across different year groups and subjects.
- Compliance: An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one).
