Job Role

In this role, you will utilise your teaching expertise to provide high-quality classroom cover. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading whole-class instruction across various year groups to cover PPA time or teacher absences.

• Delivering pre-planned lessons with confidence, ensuring student engagement and progress.

• Managing classroom dynamics effectively using your professional experience.

• Supporting the wider school team by providing feedback on pupil attainment and behaviour.

Requirements

To excel in this transition, you must meet the following criteria:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised HLTA Qualification.

• ESSENTIAL: You must have recent UK experience teaching or leading classes in a primary setting.

• A proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to adapt to different school environments.

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to process a new one).
