Home Care Worker
Location: Angus (Arbroath, Montrose, Brechin, Letham, Forfar, Edzell & surrounding areas)
Hours: 40 hours per week (Flexible shift patterns)
Start Date: Urgent requirement (Ideally within 2 weeks)
Are you a reliable and compassionate caregiver looking to make a genuine difference? A growing care provider is seeking dedicated Home Care Workers to deliver person-centred care to individuals in their own homes across Angus. This is a temporary role with strong potential to transition to a permanent contract.
The Schedule
Shifts typically run 6-8 hours covering morning, lunch, tea, and bedtime visits. Flexible patterns include:
Early Shift: 06:00 - 15:15 (some 07:30 starts)
Late Shift: 15:15 - 22:45
Double shifts are also available.
Key Responsibilities
You will support a wide range of needs to promote independence and dignity, including:
Providing personal care, mobility support, and safe transfers.
Assisting with meals, hydration, and medication support.
Delivering companionship, sitting services, and light housekeeping.
Requirements
Transport: A full UK driving licence is essential; access to your own vehicle is highly preferred as you will travel between homes.
Experience: Previous care experience (especially care-at-home) is desirable.
