We are seeking a dedicated and professional Justice Social Worker to join a dynamic team committed to reducing reoffending, supporting rehabilitation, and ensuring public safety. Responsibilities- Assessment and Court Services:Prepare comprehensive Criminal Justice Social Work Reports (CJSWRs) to assist the judiciary in sentencing decisions and provide essential bail supervision and court duty support.
- Community Supervision:Manage Community Payback Orders (CPOs), ensuring compliance while delivering accredited interventions, such as domestic abuse programs, to address root causes of offending.
- Throughcare Planning:Facilitate the transition of individuals from custodial settings back into the community, ensuring effective reintegration through robust supervision and planning.
- Risk Management:Participate in multi-agency public protection arrangements (MAPPA), utilising structured risk assessment tools to protect the public and identify vulnerabilities.
- Trauma-Informed Practice:Utilise motivational interviewing and social inclusion support to build professional, constructive relationships with individuals exhibiting complex needs.
- Professional qualification in Social Work.
- Proven experience within the criminal justice or social work sector.
- Strong understanding of statutory protection frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Commitment to trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
- Competitive salary package: £38 per hour,umbrella
