Location: South Kenton / Wembley Area (HA0)
Contract Type: Permanent / Fixed Term

The Opportunity
Are you an inspirational educator with a talent for bringing the Key Stage 1 curriculum to life? We are looking for a dedicated KS1 Class Teacher to join our "Outstanding" primary academy in South Kenton.
In KS1, we lay the foundations for lifelong learning. We are looking for a teacher who can balance the rigour of the Phonics Screening Check and early numeracy with a creative, nurturing approach that keeps our "lively little learners" engaged and ambitious. As part of a renowned Federation, you will work in an environment where "no excuses" meets "total support," ensuring every child-regardless of their starting point-reaches their full potential.
Why Join Our KS1 Team?
We believe that teachers are the experts. At our academy, you will find a culture that respects your craft while providing the infrastructure to help you excel.
Enhanced Pay: Competitive Outer London salary plus a £1,500 Harris Allowance for teaching staff.
Bonuses: Performance and loyalty bonuses in your December salary (ranging from £50 to £250+ based on service).
World-Class CPD: Bespoke training through our Teaching and Leadership Institute, including specialized KS1 pathways and NPQs.
Wellbeing & Benefits: Healthcare cash plan (dental, optical, physio), 24/7 employee assistance, and a generous pension scheme.
Structured Environment: Benefit from a highly effective, centralized behaviour system that allows you to focus 100% on teaching.
What We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from both experienced KS1 specialists and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who demonstrate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background.
Phonics Expertise: A deep understanding of systematic synthetic phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc.) and early literacy.
High Expectations: A "can-do" attitude and a commitment to the academy's high standards of achievement and conduct.
Innovative Practice: The ability to create a stimulating KS1 environment that encourages independence and curiosity.
Collaborative Mindset: A desire to share best practices within a local and national network of elite educators.
Key Responsibilities
Ignite Learning: Plan and deliver a rich KS1 curriculum that meets the individual needs of all pupils.
Track Success: Use data-driven insights to monitor progress and implement interventions where necessary.
Classroom Culture: Maintain a vibrant, organized, and safe learning space that celebrates student work and diversity.
Partnership: Work closely with parents/carers and the wider community to support the holistic development of every child.
