Responsibilities:- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil, tailored to their individual learning needs.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing lesson plans and managing classroom activities.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents where required.
- Implement behavioral strategies and support the social and emotional development of the student.
- Support the student with curriculum tasks, including literacy, numeracy, and phonics.
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting, specifically Key Stage 1.
- A patient, proactive, and resilient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build quick rapport with pupils and staff.
- Adaptability to step into different school environments at short notice or commit to long-term placements.
- Relevant childcare or education qualifications (e.g., Cache Level 2/3, BA Education) are highly desirable.
