Job Title: General Construction Labourer
Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex (BN17) (Near Brighton / Worthing coastal corridor)
Start Date: Tomorrow Morning (7:30 AM)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Fixed / Ongoing)
Pay Rate: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (dependent on pay type)
About the Role
We are looking for an immediate General Labourer to start tomorrow morning on a major 6-month construction project in Littlehampton.
This is a great opportunity to secure steady, full-time work through to early 2027 with consistent hours alongside an established main contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting site trades, engineers, and sub-contractors with daily tasks.
- Unloading deliveries, moving materials, and keeping work zones supplied.
- Maintaining clean, safe, and clear walkways and access routes across site.
- Managing waste disposal, sorting materials, and keeping site skips clear.
- Adhering to site health & safety procedures and wearing full PPE at all times.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above essential-must be held to step on site tomorrow).
- Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and gloves).
- Previous experience working on active construction sites.
- Hard-working, punctual, and reliable with a solid work ethic.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Right to work in the UK.
Working Hours & Benefits
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (40-45 hours per week).
- Start Date: Tomorrow at 7:30 AM sharp.
- Duration: 6 months guaranteed long-term work.
- Weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
