Job Title: General Construction Labourer (Short-Term Cover)
Location: Paddock Wood, Kent (TN12)
Start Date: Tomorrow Morning (Tuesday, 15th September 2026)
Duration: 4 Days (Tuesday 15th Sept - Friday 18th Sept 2026)
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour (dependent on pay type)
About the Role
We are urgently looking for a reliable General Labourer for a 4-day placement starting tomorrow morning in Paddock Wood.
This is a quick-start, short-term assignment to assist the site team with clearing work areas, offloading deliveries, and keeping the project on schedule for the rest of the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting site trades and sub-contractors with daily tasks.
- Unloading delivery vehicles and moving building materials across site safely.
- Sweeping, clearing work areas, and maintaining clean access routes.
- Managing waste disposal and keeping site skips tidy.
- Strictly adhering to site health & safety rules.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above essential-must be held to get on site tomorrow).
- Full PPE (Steel toe-cap boots, high-vis vest/jacket, hard hat, and gloves).
- Previous general site labouring experience.
- Hard-working, punctual, and reliable.
- Physically fit for active site duties.
- Right to work in the UK.
Working Hours & Benefits
- Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (8-9 hours per day).
- Start Date: Tomorrow, Tuesday 15th September 2026.
- Duration: Full week cover through to Friday 18th September.
- Quick weekly payment processed this Friday.
