The Role:
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Site Labourer for a short-term contract on a busy commercial construction project in York.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure an immediate start, pick up consistent hours, and work with a highly respected commercial contractor. You will play a vital role in keeping the site safe, tidy, and running on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting various sub-contractors and trades with moving materials and equipment across the site.
Maintaining clean, organised, and safe working areas in line with site health and safety policies.
Clearing commercial waste, sweeping up, and loading skips.
Assisting with the unloading and distribution of site deliveries.
Carrying out general physical labour and lifting tasks as directed by the Site Manager.
What We Are Looking For:
Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
Previous experience working as a labourer on a construction site (Commercial experience is highly preferred).
Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, and steel toe cap boots).
A proactive, hard-working attitude and excellent punctuality.
Ability to follow instructions clearly and work safely around others.
Easy access to York for prompt morning starts.
