Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated classroom support to students to aid their academic and social development.
- Assist the class teacher in preparing learning materials and managing classroom activities.
- Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce lessons and support learning objectives.
- Help create an inclusive and encouraging environment where every student feels valued.
- Monitor student progress and report back to teaching staff to ensure consistent support.
- Support students with specific educational needs by adapting tasks to meet their individual requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or support capacity is highly valued.
- A patient, proactive, and compassionate approach to supporting learners of all abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a busy school environment.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in education, childcare, or social work are considered an asset.
