Responsibilities- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group lessons, adapting instructional approaches to meet individual student requirements across all subjects.
- Promote student independence and dignity while assisting with daily routines and personal care.
- Provide consistent, unwavering support, including the implementation of Epilepsy First Aid and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
- Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and support staff.
- Mentor junior colleagues, maintain high professional standards, and communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
- English and Maths at Level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience working with young people with complex disabilities, challenging behaviour, or in a support worker/teaching assistant capacity.
- A willingness to work towards a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
- Proven ability to record student progress and assist in curriculum delivery.
- Full eligibility to work in the UK; successful candidates must undergo an enhanced DBS check.
