Learning Support Worker (LSW I/II) - Make a Real Difference
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00 (part-time options available)
Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays (including Christmas closure)
About the Role:
You will work 1:1 or in small groups, both at the centre and in the community, delivering engaging activities and tailored learning programmes that empower individuals to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised learning activities based on individual plans
- Provide behavioural support and reduce barriers to learning
- Assist with personal care where required
- Encourage independence, choice, and confidence
- Support access to community activities and employment opportunities
- Monitor and record learner progress
- Participate in training and ongoing development
What We're Looking For:
- Experience (paid or voluntary) supporting people with disabilities
- A patient, positive, and caring attitude
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and support autistic adults
