Randstad is partnering on an exclusive basis with a rapidly expanding, private equity-backed UK safety and compliance consultancy to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor.
Location: North West England
Following strategic capital investment from the Business Growth Fund (BGF), our client is executing a high-impact national expansion plan, transforming regional offices into multidisciplinary compliance hubs. Their Water Hygiene division is scaling at pace, backed by an elite technical leadership team-including former compliance leads for major national institutions-giving you direct daily access to decades of industry-leading technical knowledge and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Legionella risk assessments across commercial, healthcare, educational, and public sector client estates in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG274.
- Produce accurate technical risk reports, schematics, and asset registers using handheld electronic software.
- Perform water sampling (Legionella, TVCs, E. coli), system temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, and cold water storage tank clean/disinfections.
- Liaise directly with client duty holders to explain findings and recommend practical risk mitigation schemes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor within a UK water hygiene or compliance consultancy.
- Solid working knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274 (Parts 1, 2 & 3), and Water Regulations 1999.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
