About the Role
Are you a friendly, dedicated Level 2 Qualified Early Years Assistant looking to grow your childcare career in Formby? Join our welcoming nursery team! You will support our Senior Practitioners and Room Leaders in delivering fun, hands-on learning and outstanding care for babies and young children aged 0-5.
This is the perfect role if you want to gain valuable experience and receive fully funded support to study towards your Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Child Care & Play: Assist with creative EYFS activities, indoor/outdoor play, and daily learning experiences.
- Care Routines: Support children's physical and personal care routines, including meal times, rest periods, and hygiene.
- Safety & Safeguarding: Help maintain a secure, safe environment by adhering to health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
- Teamwork: Work alongside Room Leaders and Level 3 Practitioners to observe and support individual child development milestones.
Requirements
- NVQ / CACHE Level 2 in Childcare & Education (or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of the EYFS framework and child protection.
- Paediatric First Aid (PFA) and Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
- A caring, reliable, and active approach to early years learning.
