Hiring: Manufacturing Technician I (12-Month Contract)
Location: Loughborough - Bakewell Road (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Shift Pattern: Days (Monday - Friday), alternating weeks between 06:00 - 14:00 and 13:45 - 21:45 (Includes a 14% shift allowance)
Role Overview
An exceptional opportunity has opened for a highly motivated individual to join a world-class manufacturing team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting production, packing, and quality control operations in a fast-paced environment.
What will you do?
Pack chemicals into various containers and outer packaging following strict safety protocols.
Use a diverse array of measuring and weighing equipment.
Assemble packs correctly, sealing and labeling them accurately to align with UN regulations.
Ensure batch numbers and chemical code numbers match labels and product containers.
Complete data entry transactions on a computer-based system for finished materials.
Prioritize and safely move containers of chemicals ranging from sacks to drums.
Carry out routine quality inspections and maintain workplace equipment.
What are we looking for?
Safety First: A professional who actively prioritizes a safe working environment and has an awareness of environmental, health, and safety issues.
Experience: Previous experience working within a production environment and familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is highly preferred.
Core Skills: Ability to follow detailed procedures, meet strict quality standards, and complete basic computer transactions.
Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit, reliable, and comfortable handling physical logistics and stock movement tasks.
