Location: Loughborough (Bishop Meadow Road) - fully onsite
Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour (Equivalent to £24,258 per year)
Contract Type: 12-Month Contract, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:00)
About the Role
We are looking for practical, motivated team players to join our onsite manufacturing team in Loughborough. In this entry-level role, you will start by packing chemical containers and outer packaging. As you gain experience and complete your training, you will progress to filling chemicals and operating machinery.
This is an active, hands-on position with a structured 12-month training plan designed to help you step up into a Manufacturing Technician II role.
Key Responsibilities
Packing & Assembly: Pack various chemical products into different container styles and outer packaging according to daily schedules and work orders.
Equipment Operation: Use manual and automatic packaging equipment, including filling and labeling machines.
Quality Checks: Use weighing and measuring equipment to ensure batches are accurate. Double-check that batch numbers and chemical codes match the paperwork.
Warehouse Prep: Palletize, strap, and stretch-wrap finished goods to make sure they are safe to transport to the warehouse.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety rules (including COSHH, waste handling, and manual handling guidelines) and wear your provided safety gear.
Workspace Upkeep: Keep your work area clean and tidy (5S standards) and assist with basic routine maintenance on equipment.

Basic Skills: Good reading, writing, and basic computer entry skills.
Experience: No degrees, certifications, or prior manufacturing experience are required-we will teach you everything you need to know.
