Join our Protein Diagnostics Division as a Manufacturing Technician II. You will be a key member of our Birmingham operations team, ensuring our facility maintains the high standards required for world-leading diagnostic products. This role is primarily focused on supporting the entire building through essential washing and sterilization duties.
Key Responsibilities
Washroom Operations: Perform high-standard washing duties that service the entire facility.
Workload Management: Independently manage your daily tasks against the production plan.
Inventory Control: Track and manage materials to ensure necessary supplies are available and correctly recorded.
Equipment Care: Perform scheduled maintenance and activities for designated equipment and work areas.
Quality Control: Ensure all work is completed "right first time" and strictly follow quality procedures.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify ways to improve efficiency and workflow.
Requirements
Experience: No previous experience is required-full training will be provided.
Skills: * Strong verbal and written communication.
IT literate (comfortable using Microsoft Office and Excel).
Ability to learn, understand, and follow technical instructions.
Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
Mindset: A strong focus on quality and compliance, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
Prior experience in a washroom or laboratory cleaning environment.
