Contract Length: 12-month contract
Location: Desford
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Mon to Thur 08:00-16:30 & Fri 08:00 - 13:30
Pay Rate: Up to £18.90 per hour
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will be the vital link between global suppliers and internal production teams.
Your daily focus will include:
Coordinating delivery and shipping schedules to ensure materials hit the facility floor right on time.
Diving into root-cause analysis to fix supplier performance issues and coming up with alternative manufacturing methods when needed.
Analysing parts schedules, converting requirements into piece parts, regulating inventory levels, and issuing work orders.
Leading the implementation of engineering changes for efficient product manufacturing.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications or experience in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Industrial Engineering.
The ability to use and troubleshoot MRP, Lognet, and MTS systems.
A grasp of production scheduling, capacity management, inventory control, and logistics.
Analytical problem-solving skills paired with top-tier communication and teamwork abilities.
