About the Role
This is a part-time opportunity (3 days per week) starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive Mathematics lessons to students within a secondary setting. Requirements
... - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong subject knowledge across algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive Mathematics lessons across various levels.
- Develop innovative schemes of work and teaching resources tailored to student needs.
- Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on student work to drive improvement.
- Monitor and track student progress, maintaining accurate records of achievement.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Prepare students for national qualifications and external examinations.
- Lead strategies to improve student retention, attendance, and success rates.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices.
- Act as a role model, promoting a positive image of the college at all times.
- Comply with all safeguarding, equality, and professional ethics standards.
