Location: Birmingham & Midlands (Mobile Role)
Salary: £28,548 - £44,563 (Experience dependent)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with an HVAC Bias to join a leading Facilities Management team. This is a mobile position covering retail sites across Birmingham and the wider Midlands region. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC systems and associated building services to ensure our client's sites remain operational and safe.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repair: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on HVAC systems and building services.
Compliance: Oversee statutory compliance works and ensure all health and safety regulations are met.
Sub-contractor Management: Supervise and assist contractors, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Customer Service: Act as a key point of contact for site managers, providing updates and delivering excellent service.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work-related activities and compliance documents.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications: City & Guilds or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline (HVAC/Mechanical/Electrical).
Experience: Proven background within a maintenance or facilities management environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and building statutory compliance.
Requirements: Ability to work at heights, manual handling capability (up to 20kg), and a Full UK Driving License.
Flexibility: Willingness to participate in a call-out rota.
