The Role: What You'll Do
As a Nursery Assistant, you'll bring energy, warmth, and dedication to the room every day. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with room leaders to design creative, hands-on, and playful learning spaces.
- Supporting children individually or in small groups to boost their early learning journey.
- Applying your EYFS knowledge to guide children safely and confidently through their daily routines.
- Supervising and engaging with children during outdoor play, snack times, and mealtimes.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience working within an early years or education setting.
- A strong, practical understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- An Enhanced Child DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification (highly preferred).
