The Role: What You'll Do
As a Level 3 Nursery Assistant, you will bring energy, expertise, and high-quality care to the nursery room every day. Your rewarding responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with room leaders to design and set up exciting, innovative, and playful learning activities aligned with EYFS standards.
- Working with children on a 1-to-1 basis or in small groups to support their early learning journey and key developmental steps.
- Utilizing your deep knowledge of the EYFS curriculum to guide children safely through their day and track their progress.
- Supervising and encouraging children during mealtimes, snack times, and engaging outdoor play.
What We Need From You
- A Full and Relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Early Years, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
- Proven experience working within an early years or nursery setting.
- A strong, practical understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child safeguarding practices.
- An Enhanced Child DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new one with our help).
