Overview
Randstad Education is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to join an outstanding school team in Bricket Wood, St Albans. Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, this role is ideal for dedicated practitioners looking to deliver an engaging curriculum and foster a positive, high-achieving learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead guided reading sessions for small groups in alignment with the National Curriculum.
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, resource preparation, and student record-keeping.
- Maintain high standards of classroom and behaviour management, using custom reward schemes tailored to pupil interests.
- Provide academic, emotional, and social support to help children reach their full potential.
- Actively engage in the broader school community with a positive, dynamic approach.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of UK-based experience working with children, supported by 2 professional references.
- Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
- Full eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
- Proof of address (dated within the last 3 months).
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
