Key Roles & Responsibilities
Support the class teacher by setting up learning environments and managing classroom materials.

Assist children with special educational needs (SEND), ensuring they can access the full curriculum safely.
Promote positive behaviour through praise, encouragement, and clear boundaries.
Help supervise pupils during break times, lunch hours, and off-site educational visits.
Log progress notes and provide daily verbal handovers to teachers and pastoral teams.
Requirements for the Role
Practical experience working alongside children, ideally within a primary school or early years setting.
A patient, enthusiastic, and highly proactive approach to supporting group learning.
Good standard of literacy and numeracy (GCSE English and Math at grade C/4 or above).
A valid Enhanced DBS check or a willingness to complete one immediately through Randstad.
Strong interpersonal skills to build quick, trusted rapport with pupils and staff.
