Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
- Establish a safe, high-trust classroom environment built on mutual respect and positive behaviour.
- Track and evaluate pupil progress using formative assessment data to adapt daily planning.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants to support pupils with SEND and EAL requirements.
- Maintain open, constructive communication with parents, carers, and external support services.
Requirements for the Role
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching within a UK primary school setting (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
- Up-to-date knowledge of primary pedagogical practices, curriculum standards, and safeguarding.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
