Randstad Education is currently recruiting experienced, motivated UKS2 teachers to join our supply team in South Liverpool. We work with a variety of vibrant primary schools needing strong teachers who can deliver high-impact lessons, maintain pitch and pace, and build rapid rapport with older primary pupils. Your Role
- Deliver high-quality, engaging UKS2 lessons that challenge pupils and support high expectations.
- Confidently teach the Year 5 and Year 6 curriculum, including SATs preparation and higher-level literacy and numeracy skills.
- Maintain a positive, focused, and productive classroom environment.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support neurodiverse learners, EAL pupils, and lower-attaining children while stretching higher-ability pupils.
- Apply strong, positive behaviour management strategies appropriate for older primary children.
- Follow individual school policies and collaborate with phase leaders to ensure seamless continuity in learning.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching within UKS2 (Year 5 or Year 6).
- Strong subject knowledge of the UKS2 National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
- A resilient, adaptable approach with the ability to build quick rapport with older pupils.
- Excellent classroom management skills and high expectations for learning and behavior.
- Ability to travel to primary schools across South Liverpool.
