We are seeking dedicated and nurturing Primary Teaching Assistants to join vibrant primary schools across surrey and surrounding areas. Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate looking to build classroom experience before pursuing QTS, or someone with a background in early years, childcare, or care work, we have flexible day-to-day supply and long-term contracts available.
We cover all primary key stages, allowing you to work in your preferred year groups: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Responsibilities- Assist the primary class teacher with daily lesson preparation, resource management, and classroom setup.
- Lead small group interventions in phonics, early reading, writing, and numeracy.
- Provide 1:1 support for primary pupils with additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, or speech and language delays.
- Encourage positive behaviour, social development, and active engagement in the primary classroom.
- Support outdoor play, creative activities, and EYFS play-based learning.
- Previous experience working with primary-aged children (schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth work).
- A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to primary education.
- Strong communication skills and confident foundational English and Maths.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Right to work in the UK and easy access to primary schools in surrey
- Competitive Pay: £85.00 - £105.00 per day (Dependent on experience), paid weekly via PAYE with no umbrella firm deductions.
