Working as part of a highly innovative and motivated university Careers and Employability team, is a unique opportunity to play a central role in delivering a university-wide commitment to ensuring final year students receive meaningful one-to-one support from an external mentor.

Key Duties

• Programme Leadership: Lead the end-to-end coordination and delivery of a flagship, scalable one-to-one mentoring programme for final-year students.
• Student Experience: Manage student engagement, including expression-of-interest, triage into cohorts, and developing targeted communications.
• Workshop Facilitation: Design, update, and deliver mandatory preparatory workshops to ensure students are ready for their mentoring session.
• Mentor Management: Coordinate and help source a diverse pool of external, professional mentors, manage training, and handle matching/scheduling of students based on criteria.
• Data & Quality Assurance: Maintain accurate programme records, produce progress and evaluation reports, and monitor quality through feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to raise the programme's profile and ensure a high-quality experience for all participants.

Key Skills:

• Experience in end-to-end programme management and delivery, particularly in an educational or volunteer/mentoring context.
• Excellent facilitation skills for delivering engaging and inclusive workshops, both online and in person.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills for engaging diverse student and professional mentor communities.
• Proficiency in managing complex data, reporting on KPIs, and ensuring quality assurance.
