Specialist facade remediation contractor is expanding its London commercial team. We require 2x Senior Quantity Surveyors and 1x Project Quantity Surveyor to manage design and build (2 stage) schemes across London.
The roles are primarily office based out of Central London, just a 3 minute walk from Waterloo station, with occasional site visits. Due to a secured pipeline, positions need filling urgently, and temp to perm arrangements will be considered for candidates ready for an immediate start.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage 2 stage Design and Build projects end to end.
* Place and manage orders with consultants, architects, fire protection specialists, and third parties.
* Commercially manage the two main on site subcontracts: scaffolding and brickwork.
* Oversee monthly CVRs, cash flow forecasting, valuations, and variation accounts.
* Agree final accounts across subcontracts, third parties, and client accounts.
* Support early stage design procurement and cost planning.
REQUIREMENTS
* Main Contractor Background: Solid experience working directly for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Main Contractor is essential.
* All Round Commercial Skills: Proven track record running CVRs, package procurement, variations, and final accounts.
* 2 Stage D&B Knowledge: Understanding of 2 stage Design & Build procurement and experience placing consultant or third-party orders.
* Sector Exposure: Prior facade, cladding, or fire remediation experience is helpful, but strong core Tier 1/2 QS discipline is what matters most.
* Location: Able to work out of the Waterloo office with occasional site visits.
